Kris Wagner and Mehdi Mellah have created Holmes Kirby

Commercial litigators Kris Wagner and Mehdi Mellah decided to join forces. They have created Holmes Kirby, a niche firm in the field of dispute resolution. Mehdi Mellah and Kris Wagner combine about three decades of experience in court litigation, arbitration and mediation, gained in reputable law firms, with academic activities and in house litigation management consultancy.

"Litigation and dispute management is becoming more and more a field of its own, requiring specific expertise. International firms in Brussels as well as large national firms tend to focus on transactional work, or have a fee structure that does not allow them to handle certain litigation cases", co founder Mehdi Mellah explains.

"Holmes Kirby intends to be a true center of excellence in the area of commercial dispute resolution. In addition to representing clients involved in national or international commercial disputes, we also assist other law firms with their litigation work (e.g. because there is a lack of manpower, or a lack of specific litigation expertise, or in case of conflicts or interest, etc.)", founding partner Kris Wagner adds.
