Your meaningful purpose

As part of Schneider Electric’s Global Legal Department, the candidate shall support and work closely with the HR Business Partners and their teams as well as the Country Management in relation to all labour law and employment related matters in Belgium.

Your daily task and responsibilities

• Provide employment and labour law expert advice (individual and collective labour law) to hr business partners and other stakeholders.

• Provide training/knowledge sharing to the hr teams as well as business colleagues.

• Provide employment and labour law support on corporate transactions, restructures, policies, and other employee-related agreements.

• Support corporate compliance initiatives and hr projects.

• Counselling hr business partners and management teams in relation to employee representative’s bodies.

• Managing litigation, supervision of outside counsel.

Your qualification

• Fully qualified lawyer.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in advising business in employment & labour law matters preferably as inhouse lawyer in multinational companies in similar industry.

• Experience in counselling HR teams and management in relation to employee representative bodies.

• Fluent in French, Dutch and English
