The COB is the managing organisation of the International Motor Insurance 'Green Card' system. Operating under the United Nations' aegis, the COB is closely involved with the EU institutions to improve the free movement of vehicles and the settlement of international motor accident claims in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
Members of the COB are national Motor Insurers’ Bureaux, Guarantee Funds, Compensation Bodies and Information Centres.
