Our client is currently looking for a Senior Legal Manager to support their worldwide growth.

As a Senior Legal Manager, based in Belgium (Brussels), you will act as a dedicated legal business partner and give legal support to the business worldwide.

You will draft and negotiate commercial contracts, provide general business legal advice, and monitor disputes and litigations in relation to the above.

You will also be responsible to provide strategic and operational legal support for and handle legal implications related to technology & innovation, IT/digital (software- and data protection).

You will work closely together with colleagues from other functional areas/business units to develop appropriate solutions for all legal issues brought to your attention.

Whenever necessary or appropriate, you will be responsible for engaging, instructing and managing external lawyers.

You will handle complex legal matters independently, enabling your integration within the organization.

Your working area will be both national and international, involving occasional business trips abroad.

You will work closely together with and report to the CFO.

You obtained a Master’s degree in Law.

You have around 10 years of relevant working experience as a lawyer in a well-respected law firm and/or as an in-house counsel in an international legal department.

You have an experience in commercial law, corporate law and IT law.

You have an international mindset and you value cultural diversity.

You have excellent communications skills, both orally and in writing.

You are a self-confident self-starter, able to work autonomously. 

You master English fluently; knowledge of any other language is a plus.

You are willing to travel abroad occasionally.

You’ll get to work in a truly global environment, with more than 30 nationalities speaking more than 15 languages. You will be based in the Brussels office, but you will also have the possibility to work from home.
