Your role

The successful candidate will work on the LUXTAX project, an FNR CORE project led by Prof. Katerina Pantazatou and Prof. Benoît Majerus. The project will employ an inter-disciplinary approach to explore Luxembourg’s legacy and actuality as a tax haven. By employing a law and history approach the LUXTAX project aims to investigate the history of Luxembourg’s tax regime, its beneficial elements through time as well as the socio-economic context within which this regime/the different regimes through time developed. The project will also explore public perceptions of tax havens, in collaboration with partners specialising in fiscal sociology.

Your profile

  • PhD in law
  • A strong understanding of tax law
  • A demonstrated interest in legal history and interdisciplinary research
  • Fluency in English and French is required; knowledge of German is an asset
