What your future may hold

As a Senior Legal Advisor, you will act as a trusted legal business partner to various departments, taking ownership of legal matters across a wide range of domains including amongst others product development, purchasing, real estate and software implementation. You’ll be responsible for:

Providing expert legal advice and guidance on operational activities and corporate strategy.
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad spectrum of commercial contracts.
Managing litigation and dispute resolution across different jurisdictions and setting-up risk mitigation strategies.
Overseeing GDPR/privacy compliance and advising on data protection matters.
Leading the intellectual property strategy and portfolio for Sally Europe.
Coaching/following up the legal assistant in corporate housekeeping and restructuring activities.
Playing a key role in department-level strategic planning and legal project management (defining the department priorities and strategic planning, and supervise projects for the improvement of processes and ways of working of the legal department).
Collaborating with Regulatory in supporting that team on legal topics.

Your skillset

Master’s degree in Law.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in, and in-depth knowledge of a wide range of legal matters such as contract management, corporate law, GDPR, IP, real estate and business law B&B and B2C (gained in law firm and/or in-house).
Experience in litigation and knowledge of legislation in neighboring countries; knowledge of UK law is a plus.
Fluent in English, French, and Dutch; knowledge of German or Spanish is a plus.
Ability to work autonomously, while being comfortable to influence other managers and contribute to companywide strategic plans.
High level of accountability and resilience under pressure, with a pragmatic, commercial, and hands-on mindset.
Internationally minded and able to collaborate across borders.
Fast learner, adaptable, and solution-oriented with clear communication skills.
