Fieldfisher Belgium is seeking a driven and ambitious Mid-Level Associate Dispute Resolution to join our dynamic team. As a leading Belgian professional services firm, we offer a wide range of legal counseling and advocacy services to our domestic and international clients. As an Associate in our Dispute Resolution department, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging and complex cases, gaining invaluable experience and professional growth. With an emphasis on technology, chemical industry, finance, energy, and life sciences sectors, our firm provides an exciting and forward-thinking work environment.


  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, and opinions.
  • Collaborate with senior associates and partners in case management and strategy development.
  • Assist in the preparation of trial materials, including witness interviews and evidence gathering.
  • Attend client meetings, court hearings, and other legal proceedings as required.
  • Analyze and interpret laws, regulations, and precedents to provide legal advice to clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
  • Stay informed about recent legal developments and update colleagues and clients accordingly.


  • LLB or equivalent degree in Law. LL-M is a plus.
  • Admitted to the Bar Association or eligible for admission.
  • Prior experience in dispute resolution or related practice areas is a plus.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities in French and English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work independently and as part of a team.
