To strengthen its legal department, DEME is looking for a Legal Counsel with experience in corporate Law (including M&A) and contract law.
You will be part of the legal department, situated at DEME’s headquarters in Antwerp, consisting of an extensive and complimentary team of in-house legal counsels, each of them covering and responsible for one or more geographical areas in the world, DEME business units and/or particular professional domains.
You will be a part of the legal team responsible for the DEME Concessions activities. DEME Concessions oversees DEME’s broad-ranging and diverse concessions in the fields of renewables (wind, wave and tidal), marine infrastructure, dredging and ports for which DEME Concessions acts not only as a contractor but also as an equity investor and developer. Furthermore, DEME Concessions, as developer, is also taking a first-mover position in novel industries such as green hydrogen and deep-sea mineral harvesting. In close cooperation with the business and the other supporting DEME departments, you will sculpt and form the worldwide projects of DEME Concessions from the first cooperation with partners up to preparing and executing (i) the project financing, (ii) all relevant agreements and (iii) the construction and operation of the project.
