Spreds operates an online platform used for crowdfunding and the management of stakeholders.

As a crowdfunding service provider, Spreds is the first Belgian provider to receive a license from the FSMA. It organizes fundraising campaigns for both start-ups and scale-ups, looking for equity or debt funding. It allows private companies to reach a large audience and investors to have access to a large pipeline of investment opportunities.

Spreds helps companies and associations in Belgium and Europe manage their stakeholders through its online platform, using a SaaS model. Organisations can have their formal meetings (of shareholders, boards, co-owners...) and manage every aspect of stakeholder management in a legally compliant way and through an easy-to-use online platform.

We are looking for a driven person who wants to combine legal work with business management.

Do you want to know what it is like to be at the forefront of fundraisings and to create the most effective stakeholder management services? Do you want to grow in a fast- paced environment? Then you are the perfect person to join our legal team.


You will support our legal & compliance officer in the legal-administrative and practical aspects of the job, particularly the preparation of crowdfunding campaigns and follow- up actions related to the managed assets (on both the investor and company side). Amongst others you will be responsible for:

  • Analysis of legal documents related to fundraising (shareholders' agreements, term sheets, representations & warranties, etc.)
  • Analysis of corporate actions of our managed assets (actions related to shareholders’ rights) and write clear and concise summaries of your analysed documents
  • Corporate housekeeping: draft and review documents
  • Legal research in databases and other sources
  • Assisting in the organisation and management of our legal department.

About you


  • have a Belgian bachelor’s degree in legal practice (or you already have experience in a similar role) or a bachelor’s degree in law or a master in law;
  • are fluent in Dutch and French and professional working proficiency in English;
  • are fluent in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • have strong organizational abilities and an eye for detail (set and adhere to deadlines);
  • enjoy a fast-paced environment (deal well with changes in deadlines, priorities, procedures);
  • have strong communication skills (okay with being in frequent contact with inspiring entrepreneurs by phone and working with the different departments within Spreds)
  • take initiative and are hands on
