Tiberghien opens new office in Ghent

Tiberghien, the specialist tax law firm with over 80 lawyers and the largest tax practice in Belgium, has opened a new office in Ghent. The new location is situated near the Ghent-Saint-Peter railway station. It is the home of a local team of lawyers who are now providing local clients – entrepreneurs, private clients and the public sector – with Tiberghien’s knowledge, experience and (inter)national network.

The opening of the new office in Ghent is in line with Tiberghien’s plans for the future. “Our firm is, given its particular focus and DNA, moving forward in various ways”, says Koen Van Duyse, Partner and member of the Board of Directors of Tiberghien. “In a fast-changing economic and social context, we are maximizing our focus on our role as trusted adviser for each client and counseling him/her about important decisions that he/she must make as an entrepreneur, company leader, employee or high-net worth individual.”

Tiberghien has been offering, for over 78 years, an integrated, multidisciplinary, cross-border, 360° approach, covering all aspects of national and international taxation. The team’s size, level of specialization and experience mean that all types of taxation are dealt with at the highest level.

Tiberghien advises, negotiates, mediates, and litigates in all areas of taxation and all aspects of the corresponding areas of family (patrimonial) law and succession law. With its privileged collaboration with the economic service provider, T/A economics, Tiberghien’s fiscal and legal insights are supported with substantial economic analyses.

Following the Ghent office’s opening, Tiberghien now has offices in Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent and Luxembourg.
