The department comprises around 25 lawyers and advises clients on a broad range of regulatory matters, including environmental, energy, planning and zoning, and public procurement law across Belgium's three regions. Its highly regarded environmental team advises predominantly industrial and international corporate clients on complex regulatory challenges, combining strategic advice, negotiations and litigation.

• Advise clients on a broad range of environmental matters, including permits, waste management, soil, water, climate and packaging.
• Provide regulatory advice on national and European legislation affecting products and industries, including chemicals, electrical and electronic equipment, deforestation-related commodities, food and green claims.
• Develop strategic legal advice tailored to the needs of industrial and international corporate clients.
• Support clients in negotiations with public authorities, industry stakeholders and other relevant parties.
• Represent clients in administrative and judicial proceedings before the competent courts and authorities where necessary.
• Manage your own files with a high degree of responsibility while collaborating with colleagues across the Regulatory practice.

• You have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in environmental law, including some exposure to industrial matters and advising international corporate clients.
• You have native-level Dutch and a very good command of English.
• You demonstrate strong legal expertise and analytical capabilities in environmental law.
• You are comfortable managing files independently and taking ownership of your work.
• You communicate clearly and effectively with clients and other stakeholders.
• You are resilient, detail-oriented and pragmatic in your approach.
• You show initiative and are ready to take responsibility for complex legal matters.
