Our client is a leading Belgian law firm recognised for its strong expertise in tax law, with a particular focus on Tax Dispute Resolution. The firm advises both national and international clients on complex tax matters, combining deep technical expertise, strategic advice and a client-oriented approach.

As part of a highly regarded tax team, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging and high-value matters involving tax disputes, tax audits and proceedings before administrative and judicial authorities.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Assist clients in relation to tax audits and proceedings with Belgian tax authorities.
  • Draft legal documents such as tax objections, submissions, pleadings and appeals.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research on Belgian and European tax law as well as case law.
  • Assist with the preparation of hearings and client meetings.
  • Work on multidisciplinary files involving complex tax dispute matters.

Let’s talk about you

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Holds a Belgian Master’s degree in Law, ideally complemented by a specialisation in tax law.
  • Has between 1 to 3 years of experience in tax law and/or tax litigation.
  • Has a strong interest in Tax Litigation and Tax Controversy matters.
  • Has excellent command of Dutch, combined with a good level of French and English.
