Belgian business magazine Trends has named Freshfields the best law firm in Belgium at its 2015 legal awards.
A jury of Belgium's largest and most successful multinational companies - headed by secretary general of the Federation of Enterprises in Belgium, Philippe Lambrecht - praised Freshfields for its professionalism and excellent legal advice. In particular they highlighted the firm's client service, open and unpretentious culture, and commitment to nurturing talent.
A ‘true testament' to the office
Freshfields partner Thomas Janssens called the award ‘a true testament to the calibre of our entire Brussels office.'
‘I would like to thank everyone for your hard work and commitment - without which recognition of this kind would not be possible,' he said.
Freshfields also won best tax law firm of the year.
