Independent Belgian law firm Koan based in Brussels and Paris reinforces its corporate practice and sector-based approach with the arrival of Ludo Deklerck as a new equity partner.
Member of the Dutch Order of the Brussels Bar Ludo Deklerck is recognised for his expertise in complex corporate and commercial transactions and his knowledge of the "life sciences" sector both pharmaceutical and biotech. Ludo will strengthen the corporate team of the firm and will also bring substantial expertise in the Data protection field having worked with large US corporations on data protection issues for the last 15 years.
His in-depth knowledge of the life sciences including the speciality chemicals and advanced materials will add an interesting component and knowledge base to the already extensive experience of Koan of the manufacturing industry.
Ludo will take up a key role in Koan's international development.
