Legal Forces opens additional offices in Germany, France and Luxembourg
USG Professionals, the division of USG People that groups together the brands for highly-educated employees, is speeding up its European rollout. This contributes to its international growth ambitions. Legal Forces, part of USG Professionals, is the first brand to take up the challenge. It opened additional offices in Luxembourg, Germany and France. Legal Forces operates under the name USG Juristen in the Netherlands.
The internationalisation of this division fits in USG People's group strategy to strongly expand its offerings and representation in other countries and market segments. Legal Forces is the market leader in Belgium in the area of legal recruitment and legal interim management. Valorising the expertise acquired in the Netherlands and Belgium, organic growth and careful acquisitions should ensure success in the new foreign branches.
"Despite the financial crisis, we see an increased demand for highly-trained employees and specialists in every country. Our expertise in niche markets facilitates our growth and the expansion of our activities in Europe," says Hubert Vanhoe, COO Professional Solutions & Specialist Staffing. "We make it easier for local and international companies to find the employee that they need. We use our international database, our expertise and understanding of the markets. We want to position USG Professionals as the ‘employer of choice' amongst professionals."
Legal Forces pioneer
Legal Forces is one of USG People's success stories. USG People opened additional offices in Germany, France and Luxembourg after thoroughly analysing the market and recruiting the right local people. An office was opened in Zurich, Switzerland at the end of 2012. The foreign activities were started up under the name ‘USG Legal'.
"We are the first and only specialised player that is active in several European countries. We obtain two objectives with that internationalisation", says Dieter Honoré, General Director of Legal Forces Belgium. "In these countries there are many opportunities related to recruitment and selection, legal interim management of lawyers, and innovative legal solutions. Moreover, a larger geographical coverage enables us to offer a better solution to international customers that want to work with one partner. Now we can honestly offer international mobility to our candidates and interim managers."
Legal Forces also offers solutions outside Belgium: executive search, recruitment and selection, and legal interim management. We resolutely choose innovative solutions in the area of Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO).
"We are at a turning point in Europe's legal landscape. In every country you see new legal players turn up that aim at legal outsourcing and similar solutions", adds Dieter Honoré. "We consciously want to be a pioneer of that trend in Europe."
In the future, other professional brands such as USG Finance and USG Engineering will also be extended, ranging from the development of new services to a further expansion of the European network.
