Denis-Emmanuel Philippe joins DLA Piper's Tax practice in Brussels

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Denis-Emmanuel Philippe has joined the firm's Tax practice in the Brussels office. Denis-Emmanuel has over 8 years of experience as a Belgian and Luxembourg tax specialist. He will particularly develop the Luxembourg tax practice, which will focus on advising multinationals and collective investment funds on a wide range of tax matters, including holding and financing structures, tax treaty application, fund taxation, mergers and acquisitions, VAT on financial services, etc.

Denis-Emmanuel joins DLA Piper from the Benelux tax boutique Loyens & Loeff. Prior to joining Loyens & Loeff in 2007, Denis-Emmanuel worked as a lawyer within the tax department of two Magic circle law firms.

Denis-Emmanuel has recently been appointed as associate Professor at the University of Liege, where he teaches financial tax law. He regularly speaks at seminars and frequently publishes on tax related topics,

Denis-Emmanuel speaks French, Dutch, English, German and Russian.
