Betsson’s operational subsidiaries’ vision is to deliver the best customer experience in the industry. We offer casino, sportsbook and other games via gaming licences in several countries in Europe, South America, North America,  and Central Asia. The business model is to offer gaming under 20+ brands, including Betsson, Betsafe, Nordicbet and Casinoeuro. The brands are operated on a proprietary platform, which is the core of the offer and the customer experience. 


This role will expose you to a number of different areas such as corporate structuring, commercial, tax, gambling compliance, anti-money laundering, responsible gambling (RG), corporate governance, data privacy, IP, consumer protection, etc. Your main duties will include the preparation and organisation of various legal documents, including the preparation of contracts and correspondence, assisting on management of legal cases, archiving and management of legal and compliance files.

You will report to the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer and be based in Luxembourg.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with drafting preparation of legal documents.
  • Maintenance of legal agreements and corporate documentation of several companies in various jurisdictions (e.g. Belgium, Luxembourg and Malta).
  • Scanning, archiving, organizing of electronic signatures and maintaining legal library.
  • Handling KYC and due diligence requests.
  • Assisting on management of compliance requests.
  • Management of time-sensitive documents.
  • Assisting on administrative needs and requests including office management.
  • Other ad-hoc duties related to the role.

Requirements:

  • Good command of French and English, Dutch will be considered an asset.
  • Experience as paralegal.
  • A primary degree in a legal or related area.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, especially Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Ability to prioritize.
  • Multi-tasking and enjoys working in a busy and team-oriented environment.
  • Understanding of legal agreements and corporate documents (contracts, AGO, Board meeting,..).
  • Flexible and multi-skilled.
