The Employment department of Strelia assists their clients to navigate through complex labor law issues, offering integrated solutions for a wide range of day-to-day employment-related concerns, as well as for transactional and restructuring work.
As a member of the Employment team of Strelia, you will join a dynamic and experienced team of employment lawyers working on various types of individual and collective labor law matters for high-profile Belgian and multinational clients.
Being part of the employment team, you will work on a wide spectrum of challenging employment and labor law cases, providing legal service of the highest quality in relation to termination of individual employment contracts, Compensation & Benefits, corporate restructurings (including collective dismissals), plant closure, transfer of undertaking, etc., employment-related litigation, Health & Safety, social audits, inspections and criminal investigations, social relations with trade unions, etc.
Your practice area has both a national as international dimension providing you with the opportunity to work for a varied and prominent clientele.
Autonomy and a continuous focus on providing the highest quality goes hand in hand with effective teamwork in order to offer the client expert guidance on all types of employment law issues.
Your profile
You have 2 to 5 years’ experience as an Employment Lawyer in a business law firm.
You have obtained a Belgian Law degree (with an excellent academic record). An additional Master’s in Social Law is a plus.
You are a native Dutch speaker, with an excellent command of English and a good command of French.
You are a true team player.
You are passionate about labor and employment law.
You are eager to work in a professional and stimulating atmosphere among a highly qualified team where the group atmosphere is key.
You have excellent research, drafting and legal skills.
You are client-oriented and have a hands-on mindset.
