We work with two business units: executive search and legal interim management, and we are currently seeking a Compliance Professional to expand our legal interim team and to broaden our services to the market of compliance and financial professionals.

As a Compliance Consultant at Vialegis, you will play a vital role in strengthening our interim business unit by sourcing, selecting, and placing compliance professionals in interim positions within our client base.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with both clients and candidates, ensuring the best fit for both parties. Your expertise and industry knowledge will be instrumental in matching the right compliance professionals to the specific needs and requirements of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, attract, and recruit highly skilled compliance professionals for interim positions, as well as professionals with a background in tax and/or accounting/controlling and/or risk management.
• Develop and maintain a network of qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, professional associations, referrals, and direct sourcing.
• Conduct comprehensive candidate assessments, including interviews, reference checks, and skills evaluations.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their compliance staffing needs and provide expert advice and recommendations.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial contact to offer negotiation and placement.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to compliance.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Vialegis and promote our services to potential clients and candidates.

• Minimum of three years of experience in compliance and/or tax/audit and/or accounting/controlling and/or risk management, preferably within a Big 4 accounting firm or a reputable financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of compliance regulations, industry standards, and best practices. Knowledge of matters related to ethics, compliance, and fraud investigation such as anti-money laundering, AML/KYC support, corruption prevention, whistleblower hotlines, due diligence is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with clients and candidates.
• Exceptional networking and sourcing abilities, utilizing various recruitment tools and techniques.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor's degree in law, business, finance, or a related field (advanced certifications in compliance are a plus).
• You have a passion for people and are a good communicator.
• You are service-minded and very discreet.
• You are fluent in Dutch and French, and you have thorough knowledge of (written and spoken) English.
• You have a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• You have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• You are a self-starter with a passion for compliance and/or tax.
