We are looking for a Legal Counsel Social Law to join our team!

What would you do?

You will manage all staff-related legal queries. You are in direct contact with the HR Director.

You advise with respect to individual and collective labour law issues, mainly within the HR department, but also outside it. Furthermore, you intervene in legal matters regarding employment contracts and dismissal files.

Together with your colleague lawyer, you are also responsible for following up disputes.

You constantly and proactively follow up on current socio-legal developments and, where possible, you make proposals to integrate changes in personnel policy and HR policies.

What does our ideal candidate look like?

You obtained a Master's degree in Law and have at least 2 years of relevant experience in labour law and social legislation.
Accuracy in your work is important and you know how to work in an organised and structured way. You set priorities and manage to keep to deadlines.
You know how to formulate your advice in layman's terms. You easily translate your theoretical knowledge into concrete and feasible solutions. In short, you have the necessary communication skills.
You are a team player and share your knowledge and experience.
You are able to treat legal matters in both Dutch and French.
