The firm’s Belgian business law practice is in full expansion and concentrates primarily on corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, banking and finance law, labour law, commercial law, intellectual property law, GDPR, litigation and arbitration, competition law and regulated markets (life sciences, energy and telecom). 


Function

For our Brussels office, we are looking for a German-qualified junior associate with up to 3 years of relevant experience in EU law at a reputable law firm, public administration, or as in-house counsel. If you are just about to start your career, we also welcome you to apply. 

As a member of the Brussels legal team, you will assist clients with a broad range of EU law issues, including trade, sanctions, and regulatory issues. You will also work on EU and German antitrust related matters and be involved in EU litigation cases. You will be offered the opportunity to work with partners and counsel of other teams as well. 

Profile

  • You are a German-qualified lawyer with an excellent academic track record. An additional Master’s degree from an English-speaking university is a plus; 
  • You have up to 3 years’ experience in EU law at a reputable law firm; 
  • Your mother tongue is German and you also have very good knowledge of the English language; 
  • You have strong analytical and writing skills; 
  • You are a team player, eager to learn, able to work independently and professionally confident.
