Legal Forces, a division of USG People specialising in the selection and recruitment of Masters of Law and legal interim management, has appointed Laleña Boeykens (37) as Business Development Consultant of Legal Assist. Legal Assist is a new sister company exclusively focusing on paralegal professionals and bachelors in legal practice.
At the head of Legal Assist, Laleña Boeykens will be responsible for developing a balanced network of candidates and businesses. Laleña Boeykens has wide experience in recruitment and was responsible for commercial contacts and the recruitment and selection of candidates at her previous employer, Young Executive Recruitment.
As well as defining and implementing the commercial strategy, Laleña Boeykens will develop partnerships with colleges and other structural partners. She is also responsible for the selection and introduction of candidates to Legal Assist's clients, for both permanent and temporary positions.
Laleña Boeykens: "In this position, I hope to use my experience in recruitment, selection and sales to carve out a niche in the legal world. We are not just seeing increasing numbers of bachelors working in legal practice but also observing an increasing demand from businesses wanting to employ them in a range of positions.
