3 new partners at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP

Michèle Grégoire is a member of the Bars of Brussels and Paris, and former Dean of the Law Faculty of the University of Brussels (ULB), where she teaches Warranties Law, Collective Procedures Law and Banking Law and presides over the Centre for Private and Economic Law. She is also a professor at the University of Paris II – Panthéon-Assas in the framework of the prestigious Masters of Business Law.

Michèle Grégoire is the author of several books (i.a. « Théorie générale du concours des créanciers en droit belge » (Bruylant), « La faillite et le concordat » (Larcier), « Publicité foncière, sûretés réelles et privilèges » (Bruylant)). She practices Banking and Finance Law, Insolvency and Warranties Law, Contracts Law and general Commercial Law, and litigation in these various practice areas.

Vanessa de Francquen graduated from the ULB’s Law Faculty and from the University of Gent (D.E.S. in Economic Law) and is an associated member of the Centre for Private and Economic Law (ULB). Member of the Brussels Bar, she practices Banking and Finance Law, Company Law, Insolvency and Warranties Law, including litigation. She regularly writes articles and participates in seminars as a speaker.

Marc-David Weinberger graduated from the ULB’s Law Faculty and from Cambridge University (LL.M) and is assistant-lecturer at the former. Member of the Brussels Bar, he practices Banking and Finance Law, Company Law, Insolvency and Warranties Law, including litigation. He is the author of several articles and of a book, recently published, on Asset Management and Investment Advice (« Gestion de portefeuille et conseil en investissement - Aspects contractuels et de responsabilités - Avant et après MiFID » - Kluwer). He participates in seminars as a speaker.

Marijke Dreesen graduated from the K.U.L and the ULB (D.E.S in Economic Law) and will join Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP as an associate. She practices Contracts Law, Banking and Finance Law, Company Law and, generally, Commercial Law including Insurance Law and litigation.

As from January, 1st, 2009, they will join Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP (www.willkie.com) and join with, notably, Xavier Dieux, Didier Willermain, Jean-Quentin de Cuyper (partners) and Isabelle Heenen (admitted Supreme Court Lawyer).
