You will join a well-respected team that represents Belgian and international banks, insurers, financial institutions, FinTech companies and other market players in complex disputes, regulatory enforcement and contentious financial services matters. Your work will combine strategic advice with litigation, including on cross-border cases.

• Advise clients on contentious financial services and insurance matters, including complex regulatory and commercial disputes.
• Manage and support litigation, arbitration and regulatory enforcement proceedings.
• Draft procedural documents, legal opinions, submissions and strategic client communications.
• Analyse complex legal and factual questions and turn them into clear, practical advice.
• Assist clients through investigations, negotiations and settlement discussions.
• Coordinate workstreams in close collaboration with other practice groups and the firm's international offices.
• Attend client meetings, hearings and negotiations alongside the Partner and senior lawyers.
• Contribute to business development, legal publications and the team's knowledge-sharing.
• Support junior colleagues through day-to-day guidance and feedback.

• You hold a Belgian Master's degree in Law with strong academic results and are admitted to practise as a lawyer in Belgium.
• You have 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in dispute resolution, commercial litigation, financial services, insurance or regulatory matters.
• You have strong legal, analytical and drafting skills, with a keen eye for detail and excellent written and verbal communication.
• You manage your files and priorities independently, while knowing when to seek input.
• You are proactive, pragmatic and solution-driven, with a genuine interest in financial services, insurance and contentious regulatory work.
• You are a team player who enjoys a dynamic, international environment and wants to grow quickly through hands-on experience.
• You are fluent in Dutch, with an excellent command of English and French.
