Company description

Founded in 1965 by lawyers committed to legal excellence, Liedekerke is an independent law firm recognised for its leadership and expertise and with an international reputation built upon an unchallenged expertise. Ready to take on complex commercial and litigation matters? Join our Commercial Contracts and Litigation team as a mid-level lawyer today!

Your role

Commercial contracts are at the heart of every business, from the simplest deal to the most complex transaction, and you know better than anyone that they are about far more than paperwork. Join one of the largest Commercial Contracts and Litigation practices in Belgium, where you will draft and negotiate high-stakes commercial contracts for businesses of all sizes across a wide range of sectors, and represent them before the commercial courts. Working alongside dedicated experts with a wide breadth of expertise, you will be more than a legal adviser: you will be a true partner in business to our clients. You will share their enthusiasm for their projects and help them find sound, pragmatic and cost-conscious solutions, from the first idea through to the closing of the deal.

As a member of the team, you will be at the centre of this work. You will help clients design strategic business structures, navigate critical challenges, and prevent or resolve disputes. No two days will be the same: you will tackle complex matters involving industrial construction and engineering, supply and distribution, joint ventures and production transformation agreements, in key sectors such as energy, chemicals, agro-business, pharmaceuticals and retail. You will take on real responsibility and further develop your expertise.

To further strengthen our team, we are looking for a lawyer with three to five years of experience in Commercial Contracts and Litigation.
