Description of the vacancy

As an Associate in the Dispute Resolution department, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging and complex cases, gaining invaluable experience and professional growth. Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, and opinions.
  • Collaborate with senior associates and partners in case management and strategy development.
  • Assist in the preparation of trial materials, including witness interviews and evidence gathering.
  • Attend client meetings, court hearings, and other legal proceedings as required.
  • Analyze and interpret laws, regulations, and precedents to provide legal advice to clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
  • Stay informed about recent legal developments and update colleagues and clients accordingly.

Profile

  • Master degree in Law. LL-M is a plus.
  • Admitted to the Bar Association or eligible for admission.
  • Prior experience of 5 to 8 years in dispute resolution or related practice areas is a plus.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities in French and English; some proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work independently and as part of a team.
