Employment lawyer

We are looking for an Employment Associate to join a Top Tier law firm based in Brussels.

• Direct contact with national and international clients
• Continuous training and mentoring by experts in the employment field
• Key role in business development opportunities 
• Friendly and inclusive work environment 

• Collaborate on compliance driven legal HR at Belgian and EU level (policies, reporting requirements, emerging regulatory constraints)
• Draft contracts (employment agreements, executive dismissals)
• Elaborate corporate change programs including restructurings, mergers and acquisitions and outsourcings
• Work on collective labor law (European work councils, social bodies, social elections)
• Assist in compensation and benefits (equity compensation programs, pension plans)
• Manage cross border employment situations and international mobility
• Handle conflict management (litigation, negotiations)

• Dutch or French speaker, with a strong understanding of the national language
• From 1 to 4 years of relevant experience
• Strong academic background in Belgium
• Solid business acumen
• Team player & entrepreneurial spirit
