Zala advises Belgian and international companies on the legal issues that matter most to their business. Her practice combines privacy & data protection, corporate and commercial law, commercial contracting, corporate governance and business disputes, allowing her to support clients with practical, business-focused advice throughout every stage of their growth.
With more than sixteen years of legal experience, Zala has built a career advising multinational companies, European institutions and private clients on complex regulatory and commercial matters. Before joining Liberius, she spent nearly five years as External Legal Adviser to the European Commission, while continuing to advise businesses on privacy, compliance and corporate law. She recently returned to the Brussels Bar, bringing together her experience as both attorney and trusted legal advisor.
Known for her pragmatic and solution-driven approach, Zala draws on her background in commercial mediation to help clients anticipate risks, resolve disputes efficiently and keep business objectives at the centre of every legal strategy. She is a Certified Data Protection Officer (DPO) and Certified Commercial Mediator, combining legal precision with commercial awareness.
