Liberius welcomes Elisabeth Puistienne as new partner

Liberius is pleased to announce the appointment of Elisabeth Puistienne as partner, further strengthening the firm’s cross-border commercial and strategic advisory capabilities.

With more than three decades of experience in international commercial law, Elisabeth helps companies navigate complex European business challenges with clarity, pragmatism and strong commercial insight. Her practice combines deep expertise in commercial law, M&A, digital and e-commerce transformation, marketing and commercial practices, EU distribution design, compliance, and retail expansion across multiple sectors.

Before joining Liberius, Elisabeth held senior in-house legal leadership positions at major international companies including Levi Strauss & Co, AB InBev and HeidelbergCement, bringing firsthand business and industry experience to her legal practice. Clients value her entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinking and ability to turn complexity into seamless business solutions across jurisdictions and cultures.

Elisabeth is admitted to the Brussels Bar and holds a Master’s degree in European Law from the Institut d’Études Européennes, as well as degrees in French Law (University of Lyon III) and Belgian Law (Université Libre de Bruxelles). She also completed executive training at INSEAD-Wharton. She advises and represents clients in French and English.
