Linklaters Belgium is seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic lawyer to support the Real Estate practice across a range of initiatives. This position represents a unique opportunity to provide expertise working with talented, engaged and visionary colleagues and stakeholders in Belgium and abroad.

The Real Estate work covers national and international real estate investments, construction law, national and international structured financings for real estate projects, hotel acquisition and leisure related transactions, project finance transactions including public private partnerships, etc.

Clients entrust Linklaters with challenging assignments covering legal advice and transactional work, draft and negotiate contracts or represent clients in real estate-related litigation or arbitration.

Linklaters firmly believe that the business a law firm operates in, is a people business. That is the reason why they will provide you with state-of-the-art training on a practice, local and global level both on technical legal and on “soft” skills (eg presentation skills and business development skills).

Linklaters is  looking for a bright confident lawyer with at least two to three years’ experience to join our firm.

You have French as your mother tongue or an equivalent command of the French language with an excellent knowledge of English. The mastering of the other national language is a real plus.

You have a strong analytical sense, excellent drafting skills, are commercially aware and solution-oriented.

You are a team player and have the ability to operate throughout complexity and ambiguity staying focused on best outcomes and client satisfaction.

You’re curious and have a point of view, and you’re creative enough to challenge what the future looks like, based in a firm which is always striving to be consistently excellent, admired and at the cutting edge of the global legal market.

You have a first-class Belgian law degree, possibly combined with additional education abroad.
