Loyens & Loeff is looking for a Medior Associate Energy Law (3-5 years) to join their Energy & Infrastructure team.

We are looking for a Medior Associate specialized in Energy Law to strengthen our Belgian Energy & Infrastructure team. This team advises national and international clients who are key players in the energy sector, with a strong focus on renewable energy projects, energy transition, and regulatory frameworks.

You will work on a wide range of matters, including:

Energy regulation and compliance
Energy contracting (PPAs, construction and maintenance contracts, turbine supply agreements, …)
Permitting and licensing for energy projects
Transactional support for energy investments, energy financings and energy M&A work
Litigation and dispute resolution in energy-related cases

Our lawyers combine legal expertise with in-depth sector knowledge to guide clients through complex energy challenges and infrastructure developments.

Your Profile

You hold a Master’s degree in law with strong academic results
You have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a law firm
You have a perfect knowledge of Dutch or French, an excellent knowledge of English and at least a good passive knowledge of French/Dutch.
A genuine interest in energy transition, sustainability, and innovative technologies
You are a team player and you are eager to learn
You can confidently work with modern AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to enhance your efficiency.
