A new partner, at the cutting edge of IP/IT
DALDEWOLF has promoted Sari Depreeuw to the partnership, effective today. In charge of the IP/IT department, Sari is a recognised expert in intellectual property law, which she also teaches at the Université Saint-Louis in Brussels. She obtained her PHD from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in 2011. As a tri-lingual practitioner, she deals with Belgian, European and international cases related to personal data, computer contracts and all other legal issues related to the digital market.
Three new arrivals (corporate, EU and competition law)
At the same time, DALDEWOLF also welcomes three lawyers reinforcing the team. Firstly, Laetitia De Smet is joining the corporate team, making clients benefit from her experience within the legal department of an investment company. Nina Carlier is starting as a trainee on September 1st, as well as Lea Siniscalco, a lawyer and economist. They will be part of our competition law department led by Thierry Bontinck and Pierre Goffinet.
Launch of startitup.be, a unique support for start-ups
The DALWEDOLF merger took place one year ago. At that time, the younger lawyers of our team expressed the desire to meet the needs of start-ups, by developing tailored services. The launch of the www.startitup.be website in is line with the services already provided to numerous companies. Young companies will be able, in an even more consistent and structured manner, to rely on services offered in different “packages”. These services are rendered by lawyers who understand young entrepreneurs and will help them succeed with their plans, across all legal disciplines, and throughout all stages of the company’s life!
