The Brussels law firm Holmes Kirby, founded in May 2013 by litigation specialists Kris Wagner and Mehdi Mellah, has recently welcomed Prof. em. Hugo Vandenberghe as Of Counsel. During an illustrious career as a professor, lawyer and politician, spanning more than 40 years, Hugo Vandenberghe has worked as a fully-tenured Professor at the Leuven University, as a laywer at the Brussels Bar, where he was the Bar President (2012-2014) and has held public office as a member of the Senate, where he was also Vice-President. Holmes Kirby is delighted that it will now benefit from the truly impressive legal expertise and experience he brings to the firm.
In addition to Prof. em. Hugo Vandenberghe, the firm also welcomes Yvonne Engels and Sania Khan Bhatti as Associates.
