Based on client assessments, two of the ALTIUS Partners, Johan De Bruycker, Head of the Banking and Finance team, and Lieven Peeters, Head of the Real
Estate team, have been awarded ILO Client Choice Awards in the Banking and Commercial Property categories.
The ILO Client Choice Awards were launched in 2005 and have been awarded every year since then. They are based on selections made by ILO from more than 2,000 assessments of individual lawyers made by senior corporate counsel around the world.
The assessors are invited to comment on several aspects of the lawyers' performance, including quality of advice, commercial awareness, clarity of communication, sharing of expertise, response times, value for money and billing transparency. The award winners were all judged to have exceeded their competitors in adding real value to their clients' businesses.
Johan De Bruycker (Banking Award winner) was particularly praised as "an outstanding lawyer in Banking issues who shines in negotiations" and for his "excellent communication skills".
Lieven Peeters (Commercial Property Award winner) was praised for "his extremely high level of quality and responsiveness, which goes over and above our high expectations" and "the combination of impressive service and expertise which make him the first port of call".
