Belgian law firm Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick announces the appointment of tax specialist Edoardo Traversa as Of Counsel within its Tax Group.
Edoardo Traversa's practice covers both direct taxes and indirect taxation (VAT), particularly from a European and international perspective.
An attorney with Liedekerke since 2007, Edoardo Traversa graduated in law from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL) and then did a doctorate in law at the UCL and the University of Bologna. Since 2008, Edoardo has also been a lecturer in tax law at UCL's law faculty.
His appointment underscores Liedekerke's unremitting ambition to bolster the top-link position of its Tax Group, particularly in relation to European and international law. It also forms part and parcel of the development of its VAT practice. This desire took specific shape in the recent creation of a VAT Group within the firm, of which Edoardo Traversa is a founder member.
