Patricia Cappuyns joins Olswang as an IP partner in its Brussels office on September 1.
She arrives from Howrey Brussels where she was an IP partner.
Her arrival signals Olswang's expansion of its IP/TMT capability in Brussels as well as its European IP offering, particularly in the more patent-oriented aspects of IP. It also enhances the existing expertise and experience in the growing area of intersection between IP and competition law.
Patricia's experience in acting for IP-rich companies including MEGA Brands, DSM, Sara Lee/DE and Elvis Presley Enterprises on trademarks and patent matters, and her involvement in two recent leading cases before the EU Commission on the interface between technology, standards and competition make her a perfect fit for Olswang.
