ALTIUS REINFORCES REAL ESTATE PRACTICE WITH ARRIVAL OF SUZY MILLER

Suzy Miller, a business lawyer specialising in real estate, environment and urban development, joined ALTIUS' Real Estate team on 1 June 2010. Previously, she worked for nearly six years in the real estate practice of international law firm Loyens & Loeff. Following the arrival of Lieven Peeters earlier this year, Suzy's arrival represents another step in the enlargement and development of ALTIUS' Real Estate & Regulatory team.

Suzy Miller has been a member of the Brussels Bar since 2004. She holds a degree in law from the Free University of Brussels and the University of Ghent, and she obtained a Master's degree in Environmental Law and Public Real Estate Law from the Facultés Universitaires de Saint-Louis in Brussels. She is currently also a research assistant at the Free University of
Brussels.

"Suzy's arrival fits perfectly in our plans for ALTIUS' Real Estate & Regulatory team", confirms Lieven Peeters. "I am convinced that her experience, expertise and hands-on approach will
create added value for both our clients and our team".

In its Real Estate practice, headed by Lieven Peeters and William Timmermans, ALTIUS advises clients on all matters of real estate in both public law (zoning, permit situation,
environmental issues, etc.) and private law (transactions, real estate M&A, property issues, rights in rem, etc.).
The real estate team assists clients in complex real estate transactions, such as divestitures, sale-and-lease-back transactions and development contracts. It has a broad experience ranging from stand-alone office buildings, shopping centres and logistics parks to niche products such as senior housing, hotels and leisure.
