On 31 March 2009, at the Dorchester Hotel in London, the Belgium and Luxembourg offices received the IP Firm of the Year award for Belgium and Luxembourg at the Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) Global Awards 2009.
The fourth ceremony of MIP's Global Awards was attended by Geert Glas; IP Partner from the Brussels office and chairman of the Global IP Group; Katia Manhaeve, IP Counsel of the Luxembourg office; Stijn Debaene, IP Senior Associate from Brussels; Akash Sachdeva, IP Senior Associate; and Pam Taak, IP Associate from the London office. Overall, 250 people from 30 countries attended the ceremony.
The Global Awards mark the culmination of MIP’s five-month long World IP Survey. As well as producing the usual firm rankings, MIP also canvassed the market to pinpoint the firms excelling across the board for their IP expertise. These are the 2009 Global Awards winners.
