Seeds of Law is strengthened by the arrival of Jan Ghysels and his Public Law team

Seeds of Law takes another important step in its development and is delighted to welcome two new partners, Jan Ghysels and Jo Rams, and senior counsel Yves Sacreas.

Together they strengthen our team specialised in public law.

Jan Ghysels is mainly involved in spatial planning and urban development, environment (environmental permits, soil pollution, waste, nuisance, odour), expropriation, government contracts and public procurement, government liability, environmental and urban development criminal law, energy law, construction and real estate law, medical administrative law (including pharmaceutical law), civil servants law and municipal and provincial law.

He advises project developers, companies, individuals and public authorities and represents his clients before the Council of State, the Constitutional Court and the Courts of Appeal. Jan has become a thorough negotiator with or on behalf of the government and is experienced in conflict management.

Jan also combines his professional experience with scientific research. He regularly organises seminars and is also a much sought-after speaker. 

Jan has many publications to his name and is in the habit of working interdisciplinarily, both with lawyers specialising in other areas of law and with technical experts. Last but not least, Jan obtained the certificate of professional competence for lawyer at the Court of Cassation (Supreme Court).

Jo Rams specialises in constitutional and administrative law.

He advises and assists companies and individuals in their legal relations with the government and represents their interests before the Constitutional Court, the Council of State and various administrative authorities.

Jo holds the necessary certificate to assist clients in criminal cases before the Court of Cassation.

Yves Sacreas practices within the field of constitutional and administrative law.

He advises and represents clients before various courts, the Council of State, the Council for Permit Disputes and the Constitutional Court on constitutional and administrative law, urban planning, environmental law, expropriation law and also criminal law.

Henceforth, Jan Ghysels, Jo Rams and Yves Sacreas will join us in the commitment to Seeds of Law.
