Your role

The doctoral researcher will be working under the supervision of Professor Eleftheria Neframi. The doctoral researcher’s main task will be to prepare a doctoral thesis in the field of European Law, in English or French. The thesis work will be undertaken at the University of Luxembourg but can also be jointly supervised with another university. The suggested overarching theme of the PhD is the external dimension of the green and digital transitions.

The doctoral researcher will benefit from being part of a research group working in the framework of the DTU and of a dynamic Doctoral school, bringing together the PhD candidates of the Department of Law and of the Luxembourg Centre for European Law (LCEL). The doctoral candidate is encouraged to contribute to the teaching of seminars or tutorials.

Your profile

  • A Master’s Degree in European Law
  • Have the linguistic skills to evolve in a multilingual environment: fluency in either English or French, good understanding of the second language and possibly a third language, German in particular, will be considered an advantage
