Deloitte Legal – Lawyers is looking for a Legal Management Assistant to assist a team of attorneys with a focus on Tax Litigation.

As a Legal Management Assistant you will play a key role in the daily organization and business support to our team of lawyers.

It is therefore key that you can communicate in Dutch and English in a professional and respectful manner and that you know to prioritize the following tasks:

  • Contacts with courts, notaries, administrations;
  • Drafting of all types of legal documents;
  • Drafting of templates (such as standard letters, legal briefs, …);
  • Compiling of exhibits in court cases;
  • Retrieving of administrative documents via several applications (i.e. national registry);
  • Deposit of documents via several applications of the bar (DPA, e-Deposit);
  • Monitoring of court cases and follow-up of legal terms;
  • Filing documents and managing archives;
  • Legal research;
  • Calendar / Agenda management for different levels;
  • Travel arrangements;
  • Layout and quality check of documents (presentations, proposals, letters, etc.);
  • Administration support: handling incoming and outgoing e-mails and correspondence, filing/archiving and scanning documents;
  • Call management: handling incoming internal and external calls, taking messages and filtering calls;
  • Proposal management: layout and quality checks, preparing the admin part (certificates, envelopes, etc.) and making sure the proposal is delivered on time.
  • Organizing client and team events: all practical arrangements such as the location, catering, parking, badges, welcoming the participants, etc.;
  • Translation & review of documents.

Let's talk about you

  • you have obtained a Bachelor degree in law, applied law, or project/business management;
  • you have relevant experience in a similar role;
  • you have excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English (French is a plus);
  • you are a highly organized, detail-oriented and rigorous person;
  • you deal positively when working with tight deadlines;
  • you have a can do attitude and see solutions rather than problems;
  • you are capable of handling confidential information in a discreet manner and you maintain the highest ethical standards.
