Your function

Immobel is a major player in European urban development, delivering mixed-use real estate projects that transform cities.

As Legal Counsel, you will play a central role in managing legal matters related to our real estate developments in Belgium and beyond. You will work in close collaboration with other legal counsels, internal departments, and external stakeholders.

Provide legal support throughout the life cycle of residential and commercial projects
Draft, analyse, and negotiate contracts related to construction, development and real estate
Conduct legal due diligence and support acquisitions and sales of property assets
Follow up on legal and tax aspects during the development process
Support and manage disputes with contractors, purchasers, and other stakeholders
Coordinate with external legal advisors and law firms when required
Defend Immobel’s contractual interests and ensure compliance across all projects
Report directly to the Head of Legal.

Your profile

Belgian Master of Law
3 to 6 years of relevant experience in real estate law, either at a law firm or in-house
Excellent command of English and Dutch or French; proficiency in all three languages is an asset
Strong legal drafting and negotiation skills
Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach with commercial insight
Able to manage files autonomously and work proactively within a fast-paced setting
Clear communicator and collaborative mindset.
