To further continue our growth, the Employment, Pensions and Benefits practice group is hiring an Associate with 2 to 4 years of experience.

Our Employment, Pensions and Benefits practice covers the full range of employment and benefits issues that employers may have to deal with from an HR perspective. Our team has an extensive experience in alternative (flexible) remuneration, restructuring and change processes. We assist national and international clients with the recruitment and reward of (top-)managers from a legal and tax (cross-border) perspective. Our team members regularly argue before the Belgian labour courts and are frequent guest speaker at (international) conferences on employment law.

We are looking for an Associate to work on a wide range of international and national employment law matters under the supervision of the Partners and/or Senior Associates.

Are you the one we are looking for?

  • You hold a Master’s degree in Belgian law and you have min. 2 and max. 4 years of relevant experience in employment law, preferably acquired in a Belgian or International law firm.
  • You have a perfect knowledge of Dutch, a very good knowledge of English and min. a good passive knowledge of French.
  • You have the ability to conduct thorough and creative analyses, to present arguments effectively and persuasively in writing and orally, and you enjoy finding pragmatic solutions to meet our clients' needs.
  • You work independently and proactively and you are results-oriented. You are a team player and communicate easily with both colleagues and clients.
  • You wish to develop in a professional environment of quality and improve your skills in the search for appropriate solutions for the client.
