Loyens & Loeff is currently looking for a Dutch-speaking associate with 2 to 5 years of experience in both Commercial & Corporate Litigation and Restructuring & Insolvency for its Litigation & Risk Management Practice. 

Loyens & Loeff has a strong track record with an established reputation in dispute resolution covering a wide range of industries, services and regions.

You will join our Tier 1 Litigation practice based in Brussels. You will be responsible, under the supervision of Hakim Boularbah (Partner), Olivier van der Haegen (Partner) and Jens De Winne (Counsel), to advise and represent clients in commercial and corporate litigations (including in restructuring and insolvency matters)

Are you the one we are looking for?

  • You hold a master’s degree in Belgian law with an excellent track record, preferably followed by an additional master’s degree taught in English.
  • You have between 2 and 5 years of professional experience in litigation, with experience in commercial and corporate litigation, and ideally restructuring and insolvency cases.
  • You are fluent in Dutch, have an excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken) and a good knowledge of French.
  • You can conduct thorough and creative analyses, to present arguments effectively and persuasively in writing and orally, and you enjoy finding pragmatic solutions to meet our clients' needs.
  • You work independently and proactively and are results oriented. You are a team player and communicate easily with both colleagues and clients.
  • You wish to develop yourself in a quality professional environment.
