With more than a decade of experience and 771 MW under operational management in the Belgian North Sea, Parkwind is currently expanding internationally and has an active development pipeline of 4.5GW (net) across a number of European and other markets where it is working with a number of credible partners. Parkwind is also constructing the 257MW Arcadis Ost 1 project in Germany which expected to reach full operation in 2024.

Description of the vacancy

  • You will be joining Parkwind’s dynamic legal team focusing on energy offtake, regulated contracts and regulatory matters.
  • You will advise on and negotiate strategic renewable energy offtake and other regulated agreements, including contracts for difference, corporate power purchase agreements (financial or physical), grid connection and proximity agreements.
  • As a member of the cross-practice offtake team, you will furthermore be involved in defining the offtake strategy.
  • You will work with and be supported by the public affairs & regulatory team.
  • You will report to the head of legal.


  • You have a master’s degree in law.
  • You have 4-8 years of relevant professional experience in the energy sector (e.g., in-house position with power producer).
  • You are passionate about renewable energy and interested in energy markets.
  • You are solution-oriented, pro-active and pay attention to details.
  • You have the ability to manage several things at the same time without losing oversight.
  • You have good diplomatic and social skills and enjoy building relationships with stakeholders.
  • You are a team player and possess a high level of integrity.
  • You have an analytical mindset.
  • You have good social skills and can work efficiently in a team.
  • You are flexible and willing to travel on an occasional basis.
  • You are a native Dutch or French speaker and fluent in English.
