As part of its sustained growth, Cegeka is looking for a Lead Legal Counsel to join its Legal Team in Leuven and Hasselt.

Your function

  • You will offer legal counseling to senior executives and stakeholders.
  • You will assist in creating and refining company policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • You will review contracts in coordination with sales and procurement.
  • You will manage relationships with external legal advisors.
  • You will conduct internal legal training sessions.
  • You will report to the Legal Manager and collaborate within the legal team.

Your profile

  • You hold a Master in Law and have 6-10 years of hands-on experience as a legal counsel.
  • You have experience as in-house counsel, ideally in a global setting, specializing in ICT law, commercial law, and the wide spectrum of corporate and regulatory matters. A background in the ICT sector is a strong plus.
  • You're already a company lawyer or aspire to become one.
  • You excel both as a self-starter and as a team collaborator, enthusiastic about sharing knowledge within and beyond your immediate circle.
  • Your communication and interpersonal skills are top-notch.
  • You have proficiency in using digital tools and software.
  • You're fluent in Dutch, with an excellent command of English, and French is a bonus.
