Your function

As a member of the legal team of Weerts Group, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • advising the management and functional teams on commercial and corporate legal issues which arise in an operational business of a family owned conglomerate internationally active in Logistics, Racing and Real Estate development; 
  • taking ownership of the drafting, review and negotiation of a wide range of commercial agreements;
  • support legal M&A Teams to secure transactions and support negotiations and execution;
  • actively shaping company-wide co-operation and processes;
  • legal assistance in contract negotiations; 
  • when required, coordination with external lawyers and advisors.

You will report to the Head of Legal. 

Your profile

  • You have a Belgian Master degree in Law;
  • You have minimum 3 years of significant transactional experience working on a wide variety of corporate and commercial contracts, including but not limited to service agreement, procurement and supply chain agreements
  • You have an excellent knowledge of French and English;
  • You are pragmatic, hands-on and result-driven;
  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and are able to work in a demanding and fast moving environment;
  • You like to work in a team and enjoy sharing knowledge, but you are also able to work independently and take own responsibilities.
