For its Corporate Tax team, Tiberghien is looking for a Senior Associate.

What would you do?

As a tax lawyer, you give high-quality and structured advice, provide customised guidance and work out comprehensive solutions.
To this end, you thoroughly analyse your files and the applicable legislation and you are in close contact with clients.
You guide the entire M&A process: (i) restructuring of the company, (ii) setting up an optimal investment structure, (iii) performing the tax due diligence (buyer and seller side) and (iv) post-acquisition structuring.
You will represent Tiberghien by attending various events, contributing to newsletters and publications and contributing to external client seminars.
You ensure that your professional knowledge is always up-to-date by actively participating in internal or external professional groups, training courses and seminars.

What does our ideal candidate look like?

You have a master's degree in law and an additional degree in taxation.
You have at least 5 years' experience in advising within a corporate tax practice. Interest and experience within private equity and M&A advisory is a plus.
You are Dutch-speaking with a very good knowledge of English and a good knowledge of French.
You are client-oriented, accurate and able to make thorough analyses and provide practical solutions.
You can carry complex files/issues completely autonomously.
You are a real team player with strong communication skills and entrepreneurial spirit.
You are sociable and inspire confidence in clients.
You are eager to learn, creative, persistent and discrete.
