Will your income deriving from private equity funds be taxable in 2019?

The investment structure of private equity funds can take many different forms. If you have invested in a fund structured in the form of an investment company (with legal personality), it is likely that most of the distributions you received in 2019 will not be taxable and therefore do not need to be included in your personal income tax return for the 2020 assessment year.
