EY Law is happy to announce that Pieter-Jan Aerts has recently joined EY Law as Counsel to build and grow the Commercial Law Department.
Pieter-Jan has 13 years of experience in all kinds of commercial matters including general and specific contract law (e.g., sale/purchase, lease, loan, service contracts, sui generis contracts and settlements), e-commerce and marketing (B2B and B2C), trade intermediaries (distribution and commercial agency agreements), pre-contractual obligations in commercial cooperation agreements, litigation, and dispute resolution, etc.
Pieter-Jan furthermore has a keen interest in Techlaw, such as disruptive business models, blockchain and smart contracting, on which he has published extensively in the past.
Pieter-Jan is delighted to start the next chapter of his career at EY Law and is very much looking forward to connecting with the EY Law clients and to share his experience and knowledge.
